Tarout Island
This small island off the coast of Qateef oasis has provided
the most substantial evidence of Arabian involvement in the third millennium
B.C trade the island appears to have boasted avery active seaport which was
involved in a wide spread trading network it could also have served a vital
of unction as a link between the mainland and the flow of trade. Tarout two
traditional harbors, Sanabis in the northeast, and Darin in the south ,
both contain evidence of ancient settlements there are , in acidities ,
strong indication that Tarout candle perhaps also the mainland of eastern of
Arabia were closely associated with the famous land of Dilmun ( Bahrain now
) .Estern Arabia could will have controlled a far - flung thrice in trade
among the civilizetions which existed 5000 years ago.
